NH LICENSED STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Bergeron Technical is again looking to expand in-house services to our clients and establish a structural engineering department. Bergeron Technical Services currently provides land surveying, civil engineering, fire code, building code and land use consultation services. Since Shawn started BTS back in 1999 we have subcontracted with many structural engineers on our projects. As the amount of work that we are doing continues to grow and as Kate and Shawn look further towards being a “one-stop” consultant we need to bring this service into our office. The individual that comes to Bergeron Technical to fill this role will find themselves being asked for an array of structural wisdom. Most of what we do is building related so that’s where much of your experience and interest will need to be, however that doesn’t mean you will not be looking at retaining walls, small bridges and so on. Ours is a diverse firm that chooses to help our clients as much as we can.
A new hire for this position will initially work with current personnel to settle in. Shortly thereafter a successful applicant will be put in a position of greater responsibility and project control. What are the requirements?
- A current state of New Hampshire Professional Engineer license, structural discipline, or
- A current engineering license in a state that reciprocates with New Hampshire for licensing as a Professional Engineer, structural discipline. In this case, obtaining a State of New Hampshire license will be mandatory within three months of hire.

We will be flexible with the right applicant if that person shows a serious interest in what we do and an interest in growing with our company. Starting pay between $45.00 – $60.00 per hour, based on experience. Pay, benefits and equipment provided will be based on experience and what an applicant can bring to BTS.
