Multi-Use Pathway Phase II- UPDATE – December 9, 2025
As many of us know, the proposed 2nd Phase of Conway’s Rec Path, from Cranmore to Intervale, has been quite a project. Some supported it, others did not, and no matter who you talked with, if they live here in the Valley, they had something to say about it. At the November 25, 2025 Conway Board of Selectmen’s meeting, Chris Meier, President of the Mount Washington Valley Trails Association, met with the Selectmen to speak to item number 7 on their agenda, that being to “Request for Signature for EDA Grant Application as Amended”. The Trails Association needed the support, by way of a signature on the EDA Application Amendment, in order to be able to proceed with the project. A lot of conversation ensued with the result being, by a unanimous vote, the Board of Selectmen voted to not sign the EDA Application Amendment. In simple terms, this appears to have brought this project to a standstill. if you want to know more, we suggest you go to the Town of Conway’s Facebook page where you can find links to the videos of all Town of Conway’s public meetings that are recorded.
Review of the Proposed 2nd Phase of the Conway Rec Path
Mount Cranmore to Intervale Crossroad

In early summer 2024, Bergeron Technical was asked to review the “Multi-Use Pathway Phase II” and identify any concerns that we might see or questions that we feel should be answered. In response to that ask, we looked at this project in the same manner that we would any planning project and applied the same review methodology that our projects have been subjected to by regulatory agencies over the past three decades.
